3 Step Success Conversion Formula

Business man welcomes you with open handIn order to have something you want or desire you have to go through a process of change.  Sometimes people are not really ready to make a change, or at least not the change they should be making in order to get what they want.  I am going to give you a 3 step success conversion formula that you can use to state making things different today, but you have to want them to be different.  This is the natural progression that you should be following in order to get the success you want.

Step 1:  Look At Your Current Situation

The one thing I want you to really look at here is your WHY.  Why do you think you want something different.  You have to be truly unhappy with your current situation, so much that you would be willing do to whatever it takes to get out of it for a better lifestyle.

Quick exercise:  Sit down and write out what makes you unhappy.  Really think about it.  Maybe it is because you have to answer to a boss, maybe it is because you do not have enough money to buy the things you need, I don’t care what it is, but right down all the things you are unhappy with about your current situation.

Step 2:  The Trigger Point

Something in your life triggers you to react to your current situation.  Usually this is some time of epiphany or negative event that occurs to really open you eyes to how bad things really are.  For example for most people to get in shape and eat healthier the have to walk through a very traumatic experience like a heart attack to really see that they have to make a change.  It does not have to be this dramatic, but there has to be some trigger point that makes you say, I need to make a change, and I need to make it right now.

Quick exercise:  Think about what your trigger point is.  Did something happen at work, at home, with family.  What even made you open your eyes and really want to make a change in your life for the better.

Step 3:  Concrete Path to Success

In order to get where you want to be you have to have a concrete path to get there.  Not just a quick notion to try something different, but a real plan that has worked before that you can follow to get what you want. 

This tends to be where people fall short.  Most can identify their unhappiness, most can see their trigger point and know that they want something different, but most people have not found a real concrete path to success.  Buying the next bright shiny object is not the answer.  I mean think about it, how has that worked out for you so far?  I hate to be hard and to the point, but we need to get real if you are really going truly change things.
